Last Call for H-1Bs!
According to the latest statistics released by the US Citizenship and Immigration Service, 58,900 cap subject petitions have been filed, which leaves only 6,100 H-1B visa numbers left for this fiscal year, which began on October 1, 2009. Any petitions not accepted for this fiscal year, will have to wait April 1, 2010 to be filed for an October 1, 2010 start date in H-1B classification. See www.uscis.gov for the latest cap count.
